Bonjour Mademoiselles and Monsieurs,

It is with great pleasure that I bring you news of this week’s musical adventures. As always you may visit Bud’s Site for up to the minute breaking news.

Upcoming short trips include The Wine Rack in Poplar Bluff, MO on June 11th, Norb Andy’s in Springfield, IL on June 17th and Starview Vineyards in Cobden, IL (near Carbondale) on June 20th. Pack an overnight bag and join the fun!

A staff member at Indie Music Report was checking one of my secondary sites and mentioned that he liked Don’t Bother from my first CD “Golden” so I’ve made it this week’s ringtone- available for a trifling $2.49 and download it for just $0.51!

Hello and welcome to summer at last! Please have fun, be safe, and don’t forget to memorize something for Memorial Day.

Big doin’s this week! I’m playing in Aviston and Grafton to ring in the summer. If you can’t make it to either, I hope you get a chance to hear live music somewhere.

Upcoming events for June include an all-original music show at The Map Room in St Louis’ Benton Park neighborhood on Thursday June 3rd from 7-10 pm and my first ever appearance at Aeries Winery in Grafton on Saturday June 5th at 3 pm.

This week’s new ringtone is from Golden and has proven to be a really good live tune even if the recorded version didn’t do so well. I play it often in my solo act and it was a lot of fun performing it with the Floyd Duncan Orchestra. It has a blues/jazz/rock sound and an adulterous story and that certainly makes for a good ringtone- Desperate Times and as usual- I can’t control the ringtone price ($2.49) but I can set the download price to a negligible $0.51 so you can get the ringtone on your phone and put the song on your mp3 player for just $3.00 !!!! Woo hoo! I ought to be arrested for aiding and abetting theft.

Live shows this week-

Saturday May 29th
Hidden Lake Winery
Aviston, IL 7 pm

Sunday May 30th
The Loading Dock
Grafton, IL 1 pm

Have a good week,
Bud
